Here I was testing out composition for my final painting. I'm not so sure on the back ground and the purple lake at the moment.

I think your city is way of scale, it needs to be the focal point, at the moment it looks like a cluster of small mushrooms, I think that the camera needs to be set lower with the city dominating the scene, maybe the camera should even be in the city to maximise the sense of scale and give an interesting composition?
